On August 13, 2026, Lloydminster conservation officers received a Turn in Poachers call regarding two piles of fish that had been wasted along the North Saskatchewan River, north of Lloydminster, SK. This area is known as the old ferry crossing.
Conservation officers located a total of 17 suckers and 4 walleye, of which one was upper size. It is unlawful to waste game fish and dispose of fish in an improper manner. The offence was believed to have taken place approximately 1 to 2 days prior. Conservation officers collected evidence from the scene but require the public’s assistance to solve the case.
