On October 1st, 2019 Moose Mountain Conservation Officers received information through the Turn in Poachers line regarding a pile of ducks which had been dumped and left to waste along an oil lease road on the Christopher Trail in Moose Mountain Provincial Park. Officers investigated the scene and located 180 ducks abandoned in a ditch. None of the edible meat was taken from any of the birds. Conservation Officers need the public’s assistance to solve this crime.
