On October 21, 2019, Melfort Conservation Officers received a TIP call regarding a cow moose that was shot and left on the North end of Lake Charron, approximately eight miles East of Naicam. It is believed that the moose was killed sometime between October 18th and 20th, 2019. There was a draw antlerless moose season open at the time. Two early 2000’s Ford extended cabs with long boxes, one red and one blue-grey in colour, were observed in the area at that time and may be able to provide more information.
