On October 11th, 2021 Moose Mountain Conservation Officers received information through the Turn in Poachers Line regarding unlawful hunting on posted land, East of grid #605, North of Kisby, SK. Witnesses observed four individuals in a White Ford truck shoot a cow elk on posted land and then drag the elk onto Moose Mountain Provincial Park to field dress and load the animal. Officers attended the location and collected evidence from the scene.
