On December 2nd, 2021 Moose Mountain Conservation Officers received information through the Turn In Poachers Line regarding a White-tailed deer which had been shot and left to waste East of Grid 617, South of Glenavon, SK. Officers investigated the scene and located a White-tailed buck with its antlers removed. No effort was made to take meat from the animal. Under the Saskatchewan Wildlife Act, it is illegal to waste game, unlawfully hunt, or fail to affix tags to the animal. Conservation Officers need the public’s help to solve this case.
