On October 12, 2023, Kindersley Conservation Officers received information regarding a bull moose that had been shot and left to waste approximately 7 miles west of Herschel, SK. Officers located the moose and determined that it had been shot with a large caliber rifle, on private land without permission. Officers believe that this occurred between 4:00pm on Wednesday, October 11 and 8:00am on Thursday, October 12. Evidence was collected at the scene and officers now need your assistance in finding the responsible individual(s).
