On Monday October 16th, 2023, Nipawin Conservation Officers received information that two moose had been shot in the Harding Road Corridor Game Preserve, north of Love, SK. Upon investigation, it was determined that a cow and calf moose had been unlawfully harvested within the 400m “No Hunting” area of the game preserve. Both moose were processed and loaded into a truck at the site. It is believed that the moose were shot on the evening of October 15 or the early morning hours of October 16. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene.
