Calf moose shot and left to waste near Cudworth, SK

On November 17, 2025, Humboldt Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call regarding a moose that was found dead. Officers responded and found a calf moose that was shot and left to waste, 1 mile south and 3 miles west of Cudworth, SK. The moose was field dressed with some of the hide skinned back. All of the edible meat was left to waste.
