On November 19, 2025, Assiniboia Conservation Officers received a call about a mule deer buck that had been shot and left to waste near Coronach, SK. Officers attended the scene, located the deer and were able to collect some evidence. It appears that the individual(s) responsible shot the deer and then dragged it a short distance to a tree row where it was left to waste. Officers believe that the deer was shot sometime on November 17 or 18, 2025.
A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of those responsible.
