On August 24, 2025, Loon Lake Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call that a cow moose had been unlawfully harvested on private land off a lease road south of Paradise Hill, near Butte-St-Pierre, SK. Officers responded and found a partially harvested cow moose that was believed to have been shot early that morning. A lot of the meat was left to waste. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene, but they need help in identifying the person(s) responsible.
