On August 26, 2025, Loon Lake Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call reporting an elk that had been unlawfully harvested on private farm land north of Highway #303, along Range Road 3222, in the Celtic, SK, area. Officers determined that the elk was shot from along the Range Road, then retrieved by driving through the standing canola crop. Officers found the remains of the animal, much of which was left to waste, as well as other evidence at the scene, but need your help to identify the person(s) responsible.
