On November 18, 2024, Estevan Conservation Officers received a complaint of a white-tailed deer buck that was shot and left to waste on private land, southwest of Redvers, SK. Conservation officers found the buck located at SW 05-07-32 W1, shot through the heart. There was no evidence that any retrieval attempt was made. Officers believe that the animal was killed between 5:30pm and 5:40pm on November 17, 2024. Officers believe that a darked coloured truck may be involved. Some additional evidence was collected at the scene, but officers need your help in identifying the owner of the vehicle and/or who may be responsible.
