On November 3rd and 4th, 2024, Moose Mountain conservation officers received two Turn in Poacher calls regarding a white-tailed deer buck shot south of Broadview, and a mule deer buck shot south of Moosomin. Both deer had only their heads and hind quarters removed, leaving the rest of the edible meat to waste. Both deer are believed to have been shot either the night of Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, or the early morning of Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene but are asking for your assistance in identifying who is responsible.

If you have any information that can assist Conservation Officers, please call the Turn in Poachers line at 1-800-667-7561. Your name will be kept confidential, or you can choose to remain anonymous. Any information that leads to the arrest or conviction of the responsible person(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
