On the morning of November 21, 2025, a mule deer buck was shot and left to waste NW of Colgate, SK, on the east side of the Laurier Pasture. The kill site was approximately 150m west of Range Road 2153. Weyburn Conservation Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene and were unfortunately unable to salvage any of the meat. There was no mule deer season on at the time.

The public’s help is needed to solve this case.
