On the afternoon of November 15, 2025, Assiniboia Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call of a white-tailed deer that had been shot and left to waste near Viceroy, SK. Viceroy is located about 55km east of Assiniboia on Highway 13. Officers attended the scene and were able to collect some evidence and determined that the deer was shot sometime in the morning.
If anyone observed any suspicious activity in that area at that time, or if you shot this deer and it got away from you, please call the Assiniboia Conservation Officers or the Turn in Poachers line at 1-800-667-7561.
