Moose Mountain conservation officers need your help!

On March 10, 2026, Conservation Officers responded to a disturbing report from the previous night. Witnesses observed a truck chasing and deliberately running over deer in a field on the outskirts of Maryfield, SK. Upon arriving on scene, officers discovered the remains of two white-tailed deer fawns, along with the scavenged remains of a third deer. Evidence indicates that two trucks were involved – one actively pursuing the animals while the second watched. Both vehicles fled the scene when witnesses approached.

Conservation Officers have collected evidence, but public assistance is urgently needed to identify the individuals responsible for this serious wildlife offence.

A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the individuals involved. Anyone with information should contact the Turn-In-Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line at 1-800-667-7561. Calls are not traced or recorded in any way and callers may choose to remain anonymous. You can also report online at saskatchewan.ca/tipp.
