Spiritwood Conservation Officers received information on April 1, 2026, two ice fishing shelters were found abandoned on Turtle Lake. Abandoned ice fishing shelters can pose an environmental and public safety hazard. Officers are looking to identify the individuals who own the ice shelters.

A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the individuals responsible. Anyone with information should contact the toll free Turn-in-Poachers and Polluters TIPP line at 1-800-667-7561. Calls are not recorded or traced, and you may choose to remain anonymous.
